AC running but blowing warm air. Usually a refrigerant leak, a failed capacitor, or a dirty condenser coil. We find the actual cause — topping off refrigerant without fixing the leak just rents you cold air until next month.
Unit won’t turn on. Thermostat, tripped breaker, blown fuse at the disconnect, or a failed contactor. Often one of the fastest, cheapest fixes on this list.
Ice on the refrigerant line or coil. Airflow or refrigerant — either way, shut it off before the compressor pays the price, and call us.
Water around the indoor unit. A clogged condensate drain nine times out of ten. Quick fix; ignoring it costs you drywall.

Short cycling. Starts, runs two minutes, stops, repeats — hard on the compressor and your bill. Causes range from a bad capacitor to an oversized unit; diagnosis first, always.
A failed compressor on a 16-year-old R-22 system is a different conversation than a bad capacitor on an 8-year-old Carrier. Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than a third of a comparable new air conditioning system and the unit is past 12–15 years, replacement usually wins on total cost — especially with the industry’s refrigerant transition raising the price of servicing older systems. We quote both paths, and financing is available on new installs.

Is it worth repairing an R-22 (Freon) system?
Sometimes, briefly. R-22 has been phased out, so refrigerant repairs on those systems are expensive per pound. Minor electrical fixes can be worth it; refrigerant-side failures usually point to replacement.
